2025 ANNUAL CONVENTION SIDESHOW -  Breastfeeding and the Upper Cervical Spine

Enhancing Breastfeeding Outcomes Through Expert Upper Cervical Chiropractic Care.

Session Times

  • Friday 17 October - 11.00 am - 1.00pm

Presenter - Dr Mike Marinus - Paediatric Chiropractor and Educator

Seminar Highlights:

  • Understanding the Upper Cervical Spine: The upper cervical spine plays a crucial role in nerve function, muscle tone, and overall balance of the nervous system. Issues in this region can contribute to feeding challenges in babies, such as poor latch, discomfort, or reflux. The seminar would explore how chiropractic adjustments can help improve these conditions.
  • Holistic Approach: The seminar will cover how to integrate SOT principles into a holistic care plan that supports the entire family. This will include understanding cranial and spinal biomechanics, which are important for an infant's overall development.
