Advanced Module Outlines

  • The temporomandibular joint (TMJ)
    • The S.O.T TMJ techniques taught, address the whole joint complex and include adjustments of the mandible, ligamentous, muscular, and articular disc issues.
You will learn the physiology of the TMJ joint and gain the ability to properly assess temporomandibular disorder.
  • Cranial Suturals
    • The Sutural system of the cranium is closely linked to our Category II person.
Learn how to approach the cranial system within Category II, and how to release and realign all the major sutural areas of the cranium where indicated.
This is one of the most powerful cranial techniques and is especially useful to help resolve a recurrent Category II.
  • Intra-Orals
    • This cranial module covers facial analysis to diagnose cranial lesions and specific adjustments for occipital, frontal and temporal bone lesions and how they relate to the categories.
Intra-oral corrective protocols will often succeed when extra-oral corrections are not making the desired changes.
A practical session studying the indicators, visual and static analysis, the hand holds and the vectors of correction.
  • Cranial Specifics & Non-Specifics
    • This advanced module we will be covering more complex and specialised techniques used on a day-to-day basis with SOT. Integrating condition-specific procedures into the SOT cranial practice as well as techniques to enhance craniosacral meningeal dynamics, cranial suture mobility, and temporomandibular balance.

  • Bloodless Surgery (Advanced CMRT).
    • Mastering Visceral procedures, this advanced CMRT session will bring an understanding the visceral system and how to apply techniques to deal with complex cases. Based on DeJarnettes original  1939 work,  Bloodless surgery allows the clinician a thorough understanding of function, physiology and procedures to aid the Visceral-fascial system.
